Meet the Members!






Name: Jesse Annis

Current Position: Owner Southeast Site Services LLC. Southeast Site Services is an electrical contractor specializing in airfield lighting, navaids, approach systems, underground utility installation and site lighting. We are currently licensed and actively working in 9 Southeastern states.

Aviation Experience: Private pilot, multi engine instrument rated since 2015. Daily involvement with the aviation industry.

A thought about Baldwin County Regional Airport: “KMLJ is our gateway to the Southeast. With a Beech Baron and a Piper Arrow based at MLJ, its centralized location puts us within 3 hours of any project we have.”

Name: Tom Osborne

Current Position: Semi-Retired Flight Instructor

Aviation Experience: Former manager of the Milledgeville/Baldwin County airport for 18 years with 5,000 plus hours  with commercial certificate in single and multi-engine instrument airplane, als instructor in single engine, instrument airplane.

A thought about Baldwin County Regional Airport:  "I feel very grateful for having been a small part of the Baldwin County airport for the few short years i was there and look forward to the progress, all of us working together, can accomplish to make  the best destination airport in the state of Georgia and the whole southeast."

Name: Les Leech

Current Position: Retired after serving 40 years as CEO of a healthcare organization with operations in seven states.

Aviation Experience: Private pilot since 1982, Single engine instrument rated, Multi engine rated and 5,300 hours total time.

A thought about Baldwin County Regional Airport: "A beautiful small, scenic airport ideally located outside Hartfield's congested hub.  It is user friendly, provides good service and is well managed."

Name: Jim Wolfgang
Current Position: Retired after 46 years working in the education environment.
Aviation Experience: Private pilot with instrument rating since 1983; co-owner of Air Sinclair, Milledgeville's FBO in the 80's and early 90's.
A thought about Baldwin County Regional Airport: “The prettiest airport in the South with great potential as a resource for Baldwin County and surrounding communities.”

Name: Butch Harrell

Current Position: Retired in 2013 after 38 years in Healthcare I.T.

Aviation Experience: Private Pilot 1985

A thought about Baldwin County Regional Airport: I am Excited to be a part of the aviation community.  Great facilities for pilots and passengers.  No place prettier to fly in and out of in all of GA, and it is only going to get better!

Name: James "Jim" Neal

Current Position: I am a retired airline pilot of 31 years and have been flying for 58 years.

Aviation Experience:  I started on the DC3 when I first started and wound up on the 747-400 with the Martin 404, DC9, 727, Airbus A-320 and DC10 in between.  I have owned 5 different aircraft and have about 30,000 hours since I started flying.  I currently have a Beech F33A and fly about 150 hours per year since retiring on April 1, 1997.  I will turn 80 in September and hope I can continue to fly for many more years.

A thought about Baldwin County Regional Airport: “I am excited to see the progress being made at our airport. Looking forward to see what we will do and will be willing to work toward making it one of the best regional airports in our State.”
